Buying a dip and doing a research on the stock you are buying the dip see six months back and see how far the dip could go and it shows how far it’s the pullback many traders that know this strategy of scalping they are doing it the market now is on red section mostly every time more research on every stock you pick

Ross, I have a question. After watching you for a few weeks, I notice that you sometimes give some back "reduce your a little" when prices get hung for longer than you like. Are you giving it back so it looks to the market makers that they've recaptured some of their lost gains? I have noticed if I buy too much of a stock in one go that the market notices, and will move to try and take it back, when I sell it back the market goes back to where it was for the most part. I view this as being similar to making too big of a splash. I guess I am asking, are you responding to this by trying to give back a little so that other traders and market makers feel like they've taken some back and can allow for more action? Or is it truly to reduce your risk if things start to go south, you have less on the table? You use sell half hotkey to do this or hit your unit trades button a few times?

Totally agree. I review my trades at the end of each day and sometimes again on the weekend. I us on demand in TOS to see if I could have made better entry and.or exits. Never stop improving. This is definitely a performance based activity. Sure, some days the market gives more than others but most of your results are a result of your effort. I spend very little time actually trading. Most of my time is spent researching and strategizing.

I keep detailed records (spreadsheet) of my trades and I replay my losing trades in Thinkorswim's on demand when that day becomes available. I can see the level 2, the time of sales and the chart of what was going on when I took the trade and stopped out. I can view it with a clear head, and most times its "What were you thinking? You are getting in at the top of the move!" Other times they are good entries, but it just doesn't work out. I firmly believe detailed records of my trades are invaluable to me, as well as the replay of the losses

I do this daily. Review my good and bad choices for improvement. Sometimes I repeat a mistake more than once but I know when I do it. I need to remember to keep my rules clean and simple.

I sacrifice so much to become better.
Yesterday I sat at my desk for almost 6 hours (not trading. Refining) … and today I am in my 3rd hour.
Okay … I don't do that everyday … but sometimes it is good to clear the head and pause for a day.
Staying in the game and working hard is the way to go!
And imagine this … if you learn to survive in this crazy time we a living in ATM (recession is coming soon!) you will be king (or queen) when the markets are back to normal!

All the more I soak myself into how the market operates, the less mystifying it is. Saw your video about which brokerage to use and when you said that the brokerage was ultimately not the important part, it really hit me lol I need to take the weekends to focus and develop my own strategy! I never knew how people's personalities come out in their trading, until I started seeing my own in retrospect. Good advice, brotha!
