We in Finland have this saying "Parempi pyy pivossa kuin kymmenen oksalla" which means something like It is better to have one for sure than ten maybe to come if you get lucky.

Another way to think of it is there is opportunity outside of your normal trading hours. Sometimes it takes a couple hours for a move to happen. It's better to stick with known moves than to go chasing other things. You can always close out and set alerts for when it breaks expectations.

That's a greed frustration and it happens to everyone. But you can't predict how the stock is gonna behave later, it may as well tank and you would be crying why you didn't walk off earlier. Holding your greed in place is the most important skill in trading

I’ve done that plenty to times. I was up within market minutes then start overtrading to lose half then claw my way back to some profits. Frustrating.
