HEY ROSS! DO YOU TRADE F&O OR ONLY INTRADAY? ALSO ENJOY YOUR VACATION.

Hey Ross. I appreciate all the content you put out there and how you keep it real. Amazingly helpful as I began my day trading. I hear you in regards to the challenges of working for yourself when your income isn’t generated passively. In some ways working for a company and having a “job”. Is less mentally stressing I’ve done both and I can say I feel more free working for myself but I also feel the burden of producing much more. Two thoughts that have helped me: 1-I try to convert my active income producing to more passive income so that eventually the active activities are totally optional. 2-Great point on that 5% of your trading days produce 20% of your annual profits. For your quality of life and being there for your family, it may just be accepting that you may miss one of those great days. That’s just the nature of the business. You may miss a red day too. If you missed every one of those great days because they all fell on your vacation, could you live with 20% less profit to have a totally free and enjoyable time? I think you’ve gotten to the point where you have earned the personal time. Live and enjoy life! Sorry for the long message.

Yes, the fomo is real, especially while on vacation. I usually give the market an hour or so, if nothing is moving I'm off to the beach. Enjoy Ross, you deserve it!!!

No worries y'all! If you're burned out, it's always best to reset. You wouldn't run your PC without a reboot. No guilt, that just wastes brain space meant for happy memories of the days off, great weather and beautiful scenery and feeling blessed! Because you have a career that allows you to be in charge, if the boss says you need a break… Esp when the market is so-so. I would take the time to review my good trades and see what I did right, and analyze why my bad trades went bad. Was there a way for that trade to be successful? If not, why was I in it? Etc. Because if the market continues this way I will likely encounter similar charts and patterns, and I'll need a way to deal with them. Always something to learn. Thanks for all the content and enjoy your vacation! We'll be here when you get back!

While financial stability and success may be important for a self-employed individual, it is also important to prioritize personal relationships and experiences. In the end, it is the memories and experiences that can provide a sense of fulfillment and happiness, not just financial gain. A balance between work and personal life can help a self-employed person find both success and happiness in their life. Coming from a self employed person myself .

Remember: as a daytrader you have zero customers and you have everything under your control. Regarding youtube, you could generate content before and ask someone to upload it later. Of course, you have a community, but even here you could make a holiday calender and tell people when your "business "is closed for holidays 🙂You only live one life and you are only young once. My advise is: make a schedule for the whole year with fixed holidays like 1 month in the summer, 2 weeks over xmas and easter etc. As a daytrader you should have more holidays then the average person not less – or it is not worth it . I am sure you also have more passive revenue streams, such as some dividend stocks etc. ?

When I watched this, two relations instantly formed in my brain:

    1) John Nash's story, in the movie A Beautiful Mind. In particular, the part when John is informed that he is being considered for the Nobel Prize. While it came as a shock to him (in the movie, at least), it represented the result of sticking with something, for a lifetime. While he was very proud of what he had accomplished, he recognized that his relationships were what ultimately gave his life meaning – and therfore, played a significant role, in his accomplishments.

    2) The story of Ken Griffey Jr – since the preparation for hitting a fast-moving baseball, at the right time, at the right angle, and with the right level of force, is so relatable to trading, from a psychological perspective, at least. And also because, Ken's results are far from typical. And lastly because, while he is seen smiling ear to ear in so many pictures, and was a superstar right out of the gate, he was actually suicidal, when he was 19 years old, right around the time that he was beginning his major league career.

I would just say, keep doing what you love, until you dont love it anymore. And hopefully, that never happens.

Well, I am coming to your world soon! Currently, I work full-time at a Staples store. I work mornings, evenings, weekends and most holidays just to pay my monthly bills. I use my awesome paid vacations usually to catch up on house cleaning and repairs. But, I have chosen to quit my full-time and start day trading (Ross did this to me) full-time. I have three weeks left to work at Staples then give me about two months and I'll give you an update on my life.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @verilucis says:

Whatever…. take a few days or a week off… you can get back into the groove. That's YOUR psychology. 😉 Luv ya, Brother. It's about making decisions… and, what one 'values'. 🙂

great video. but (remember why you got in to trading at the first place) not specific for the money, is about freedom. i dont think

you need to let money control your mind, you have alot of money remember you cant make all the money in the world. you can control the mind, dont forgot why you got in to trading at the first place. you at other position in life, you need to remember, we live once. and i know addiction to trading is bring alot of dopamine but it can also make you stuck in life infront the computer. trust yourself and allways remember you cant make 200b in trading, listen to your soul, find your biggest dream and make it happen. for example, my biggest dream is to be healthy as possible, but i also want money from the stock market, but i dont look at money too seriously. my dream is to be the healtyest that i can get

(life offers alot of possibilities. we shouldent take life too seriusly)

(we mybe need to discover our max level of personal development)

think about your dream and do everything to achive it

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @twinquist says:

Ross, with the current state of the market, do you think that us new traders should sit back and wait for things to get back to some semblance of a bull market? This market is so frustrating and difficult
