In this episode, I talk about my journey to becoming a day trader. I discuss my experience feeling like I didn’t fit in and how I felt a sense of community in the Grateful Dead music scene. I found myself a bit lost going through college after my dad passed away. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do, but I knew I didn’t want to take the so-called traditional path. And unfortunately, with my luck, I graduated college during the great recession. So getting a regular job is pretty much out the window.
I had ideas for businesses I wanted to start, but I didn’t have the capital or the confidence to do it. This led me to start trading.

Great story Ross. I've followed you for a while, but I'm more of a swing trader. My first GD show was in '79. Got to see Jerry play almost 200 times. I hope that you have discovered Goose by now – I believe they are the best band to come along since the GD. Jump on the bus my friend.
Closest I was to fitting in was through partying, once I stopped that many acquaintances fell away. Definitely feel the not fitting in part. Everyone was planning for college and I was not on that path. I was like there’s nothing I could see myself going for. Thanks for posting this video and reminding me that daytrading is perfect because I can be myself. Don’t have to fit a mold, just need my knowledge and need to let go!!!!

And ive never known family like i do in tour ..wouldent "TRADE" it for the world! Now i trade on tour. Awesome Ross. So nice to see you showing what your interested in. I've been watching your morning show and saw that you picked up a Sprinter and noticed that during the morning show you were in areas where D & C were playing. Deer Creek/Chicago? Being a fellow head myself I was thinking that you were probably hitting some shows. I've been fortunate to see shows in most of those places, but most my mid west and east coast tours were all BC(before children). We're planning to hit the last shows of D&C in SF this weekend. I just heard a few there may be guest appearance by either Trey, Warren Haynes, or possibly Paul McCartney. Who knows if any of them are scheduled or if it's all just rumors. Either way; it'll be great to see some old friends and catch some good music. Oh yeah, what did you think of your Starlink connection? I use Starlink for my internet service too

I was fortunate to work stage security for the Dead at the Oakland Stadium back in the Late 80’s. Very mellow crowd as would be expected but gotta say on the outside the DeadHead Fans lost their cool and stormed the bldg. The Oakland PD was there and surrounded the outside with their motorcycle officers. All they wanted was in but Fire Codes has a cutoff. Anyhow before the show I was out engaging with the DH’s and got a great feel for what it was like for those growing up in the 60’s. If only we could turn the clocks back and live the life of Peace & Love again. ❤

Couldn't have said it better. Just recently found my way… now ALL other trading YouTube doesn't make any sense anymore. Bots are printing money. The Gab i've fallen into is huge, as I'm not a Deadhead. Need to find my Mojo back after 4 years of making trading to work for me.
