I am a schoolteacher. I would like to trade premarket during school and day trade at the start of the bell in the summer.
I just got off the phone with TD Ameritrade . They have premarket trading from (around) 2 hours before the bell and up to 3 hours after the bell. Pre and post market trading has no stops , only limits.
No one from this people will become a trader. Let alone trading is hard, and having a job while trading it is impossible!

Hey Ross I’ve been watching your videos for awhile now and I must say, you’re very wise with how you teach. Thank you! I’m a 19 year old with a bill of $400 a month that I have to pay. Now I have a full time job and I’m trying to learn how to become good at day trading. Then turn that to my full time job eventually once I see I’ve been getting the hang of it. Any recommendations of how to get started or what would you do?
I'd love to quit my job to go play basketball lol. even when I played in ABA I still worked full time and was doing a masters program… now I work full time and try to trade

thank you Ross and your team for making this video, it really motivates me to keep doing what i do, go to my job and use that money to fund my trading hobby as of now, and to be positive about what im doing.
was realy interesting ! thak you guys ! for my on side story I used to b a 3D artist on the EST time ! with a solid hospitality experience ! i give up on the CG world cuz the hospitality fits better my schedule ! working evening shift done by midnight and be able to day trade everyday at 9 am and back to work at 4 pm but has some downside ! hard to manage the days off since market is mon to Fri and hospitality job is the weekend where they need you the most which you end up by having maybe half days off at max but its a choice
Take a Contract DOD job overseas! I go to work full time 6-2 and then the bell rings at 430pm my time! Sweet set up for sure!
