Ross, Do you use the 8ema line for entry and exit? Some other traders use it. It seems that if the rule (entry upon going above 8ema and exit upon going under) is strictly observed, loss is minimum. I lost more than $250k this year on my retirement account by not observing this rule strictly – not through day trading but the principle for entry and exit should be the same.
I didn't know you are shorting too, Ross. As always, really appreciate the honest feedback about ups and downs, it's truly the best content available on the internet right now about reality of day trading. On days like this please get your motivation from the fact that there is an army of people watching and learning from you and you are making a huge positive impact on the community that surrounds you!

Ross, you described my entire week.
I was having a so so week. No big wins, but no big losses.
Then yesterday I took a few trades and got nice and green. Came back for another trade on COGT and somehow managed to lose it all plus some. So ended up red for the day. I was so mad and disgusted with myself. Was just completely stupid.
Definitely not how I wanted to go into my weekend.
I swear, when the psychology goes out the window and I start doing stuff like that it's almost like an out-of-body experience. I can see myself doing stupid stuff, I know I'm doing stupid stuff and yet somehow I can't quit and keep doing the stupid thing I know I shouldn't be doing

It’s honesty like this that was the final thing that got me to sign up for warrior pro. If anyone is on the edge… it’s worth it.
Its the bad times that help me out the most when you post those. It's not easy letting everyone know red days but seeing your thought process is vital for other traders who cant talk to anyone about the struggles of day trading. Stay strong and never forget how far you've come. It's inspiring because the amount of work involved in mental discipline is always an ongoing learning process. Keep kicking A** Ross

I'm a Warrior Pro Student. Thank you so much for the education and your transparency. The good news is I have 7 green days out of 8 this month. I have you and so many others to thank for it. Mike, Roberto, Danny C, Christoph, Hulk, Celena, Michael Lec…too many to mention.
But I have not traded well this month. Why? Tried to get away from my edge, and chased and overtraded. Still GREEN; so much to be grateful for! But I made bad choices. And like you I said those choices "made me feel like an idiot." That's where BOTH of us have been wrong.
You are the farthest thing from an idiot, and your trading did not MAKE you feel like an idiot. That was your choice. The bottom line, Ross, is you are human too! An exceptionally gifted person who makes mistakes. Don't let these last three days choice "make" you feel like you are anything less than what you are. For you are loved and respected. And a wonderful teacher and trader.

Hi Ross, Most people come home from vacation somewhat feeling a "spending overload" I have learned a lot from you so here I am giving back to you: My kids are teens now and we happen to spend a lot of time at the vineyard. please recognize as Im sure you do, the gift of little children wanting to play with you and enjoy your company because that
dissipates. I understood this 1000% and maxed the gift of fatherhood out but man, I just sold my vessel " the LIVE MORE" because I found myself sitting alone most of the time at the marina. I'd literally give everything I have just to have that period of my life back. By far it was my greatest happiness. At this point I'm learning how to be selfish which is very difficult for me and no matter what I do there's an emptiness that just cant be filled. Your in your greatest period of your life. Next trip please keep your mind clear. You mentioned several times that you weren't centered while trading day 9. If "one" can't be centered while on an incredible island with everything that means anything to you… YOU MUST ADJUST YOUR GAME, YOUR MINDSET AND WHYS.

Would love to start seeing you trade futures on /ES and /NQ. Basically unlimited liquidity go long go short, a fraction of the fees that you pay now. Much more predictable than the daily manipulated low float trash stocks that you end up trading everyday… You're trading income would triple your YouTube channel would triple, the educational courses you could produce would be much better, everything would be better imo. It's simply a much higher quality product to trade.
Yes, funny how that works, to “feel” like a loser, all is well, all is not lost, time well spent with family, memories made, I hope that you only take with you the good things from this trip, and leave the other “feelings” be. Try and center your self, woosah 🙏🏽

I've been having the same thoughts lately.. Why can't I just stop at a like 5% up on the day based on avg size? I think the answer is simple. We want to limit our downside (max loss on the day rules) but we don't want to limit our upside. If we do we'll never have those $100K+ days. So I think in the end It works out and it's a Net+ decision to keep trading. In a slow market ya maybe it's better to end early but even then.. you'll always miss that big winner that comes 1-2x per week. Tough Tough.

What I try to remember is, sure 1k days to you are not huge by any means but, think of it as if you were at a regular job with regular pay, you would go to work all week and still not make in a week what you made in a day, losses are never good but sometimes take a step back and say, what else can I do to make 1k a day, not a whole lot at all, keep your head up bud, 1k a day in this bearish market is still great and you have time to enjoy your beautiful family 🙂

Even an experienced trader like him and still showing signs of emotions and psychological obstacles! Good example of being disciplined and still being able to walk away or keep losses small.
Ross as others here have said, you truly need a 100% 2 week vacation with no trading, no teaching, no videos, nothing. A real vacation pays off in all ways. As I'm writing this I realize that I need one too. FOMO is real but real vacation are mandatory for a good life. You have a beautiful, full life. Some things have hit you hard lately so that's messing with your feelings of worthiness but anyone with a brain and heart appreciates you wholly.
Ross you are awesome indeed but I think you are upset that the week you went on vacation we had giant mid-day runners.
