What are your thoughts on the new commission changes to Suretrader for small accounts trading 1-5k shares on stocks. They have from what I can see flat rate of 0.01 per share now but they took away routing fees I believe? so this means every 1k shares its $20 round trip… 2k shares $40, 3k shares $60…

ZAIS I got in at $3.73 I waited til bears had fun, then I waited for confirmation of bulls on 5 minute I waited til green hit over 3.62 I seen huge bull flag bounce up then down but showed bulls had upper hand now paper trading but this was not easy one to trade but I hit $200 on 1000 shares I was out at $3.93 I think

I have a question for Ross or anyone really that is scrolling through the comments. So my account is $1,249 and it's a non-margin account. I seen HTGM moving but it was already $8 so that means I could only take around 100 shares. So with 100 shares in order to break even on commissions the stock needs to move 14 cents. Is it worth it to buy 100 shares or should I just sit on the sidelines and wait for the stocks I can leverage on? I find myself in this predicament a lot and it's very annoying. Thanks in advance! 🙂

wow nice job I tell you I've been study candle sticks and moving averages with oscillator and I will give tas 7 indicators few more months but I'm leaning of dropping tas I'm starting to understand trading save that $254 month lol but I will be patient
made $1,800 today on that move. real money got in at 8.30 with 10,000 shares, got out at 8.48
HTGM A short's nightmare!
I made all my money today on HTGM but I went to the well one too many times and gave back 35% on one trade
I watched Level II DOM on this stock as it pushed up late morning. Holy cow! This had to be a short squeeze. I couldn't keep the price or the orders on the DOM. It was then that I realized people were placing orders much much higher than the actual price trying to insure fills. The price whipped up and down like crazy as it eventually pushed up to over $11. Crazy. Best move was from $6.50 to $8.50

Can you explain your ZAIS trade a little better? it seems like a random entry other than maybe the break over 3.50 half dollar. I lost money on ZAIS because I got in a bit late, 3.97 on the break of premarket highs but it faked me out after going to 4.19 for a second and I sold at 3.70. I made money on HTGM in the same way you did though, 5 minute bull flag setup. In 8.93 out 9.51
