I know there is some reassurance knowing you're not the only one who had it rough, so I'll share. This past weekend, I was essentially gloating to my friend that I finally made it. Essentially bragging that I finally can say that I am a profitable trader. Just this past saturday… Anyways, on monday, I bought a false breakout but my ego didn't let me cut the trade quickly. I held hoping for 9 ema bounce, but it flushed right through it. 18% loss. Then on tuesday, ANOTHER false breakout. Didn't want to take a loss after the first major one, so I held hoping. 9% loss. Then wednesday, it was just one of those times a trade doesn't work out. 4% loss. Then 1% loss on thursday, no trade today on friday. So I was overconfident, then lost 32% just this week alone. Back to the drawing board, because this week was NOT it.
I like your style Ross. I need a laugh. Made my first live trade this week and got absolutely killed on NatGas. Today I'm wasting my money on DXY call. This might be a short lived new career.
