All right, so you're about to watch a Dip trade. This is a biotech stock that's up over 300 on the day. with news it has just squeezed up to 450 which is psychological resistance. At the half dollar it pulls back and as it dips down to about 425 I buy the dip getting in with 6 000 shares at 4 30.
it curls back up to 4 45 to 450. It breaks through that level and that's an opportunity to take profit off the table. A Dip Trade for me usually doesn't have a phenomenal profit to loss ratio I do get stopped out a fair amount of the time so I trade them with slightly smaller size, but they can be a good way to build up a little bit of a cushion on the day. So when I see a better quality setup I can step up to the plate and take more risk which is what I end up doing on the very next trade where I make four thousand dollars in less than a minute.
I understand how whole numbers and half’s are psychological levels but how is 4.25 a level also.
Didn't trade this one. Actually didn't trade for the day because of this one. This one just kept dropping after the opening bell.
