So Lightspeed is the best platform? Like I'm thinking to start with a $200k account (I have 25 years experience, just never really done equities).
How do you feel about using ai to trade for you?
Normally I wouldn't recommend taking advice on traading from someone based on the band featured on their t-shirt, but in this case I"d make an exception.
How can I connect with you to learn everything from you as a complete beginner?
One problem with TDA, if you day trade, and you make more than 300 orders on several days in a row, they will slow you down.

Love your channel. Viewing your trades at the end of the day is great, but could you make videos of actual trades in and out so we can see how its done correctly. Im using the ToS platform and just getting started on my trade journey and would like to know how trades are placed and learn from someone who actually does it correctly for a living.

Thank you Ross. Great info. I love using TOS and have been struggling to get the Activity & Positions tab to be available on The Active Trader window. Is there any other video you gave that would show how to set it up like i see it here in this video? Thanks.

There are a few things about TOS that suck. Can't drag working order flags within a chart. pesky confirmation dialogs when modifying a working order. It's not built for speed. Hotkeys are limited to ask/bid market… no limit offsets that I can find. Editing a working order is slow and cumbersome… by the time you've updated the dialog box the price has moved several cents. Would love to be wrong about all of this. Someone with more experience please educate me.

I just started day trading or my journey i should say. My question is can i just jump to the paper trading on tda instead of going threw all the tests? I can learn tics,candles ect from youtube videos

Just went through my settings and changed all 3 setting to what you have yours set on. I had no idea market data was delayed. I’ll see if I can notice the difference tomorrow!
Can you buy/sell using market orders in pre/ah? I've tried everything, and it doesn't let me. Love the channel btw!!
As of June 2020, trading from the west coast, my fill speed is far slower than this. Thats with a dedicated instance of ToS reserved just for trading with no charts with a silky smooth framerate. I even have my VPN pointed to New York which in my tests makes the price action faster to update and its not sharing that connection with the instance for charts which is running through my ISP. I hope Lightspeed can get me price action update rates similar to Ross's but I'm starting to think its due to my distance from New York.

Is there a quick way to trade volatile stocks pre/post market on TOS? Looking to trade earnings but cant seem to get in and out quickly.
Hello Ross, TOS absolutely sucks. Ran super fast with paper…but is literally slow as dirt no matter what setting I change, including these. Do you have a paid brokerage or paid solution that you recommend. Sorry if you already posted a video about this but I couldn't find it in the search for your videos. I see DAS being used but just wanted another opinion. Thank you.
