Catching up on your amazing library of content and now re-watching this small account series. Gotta say–you're a generous man for putting out such in-depth training material for us to enjoy and learn from. MUCH RESPECT, ROSS!!
A couple of questions:
You have mentioned why you use the International broker (e.g., the leverage available plus no limit on trades, more reliable execution) but could you clarify how the monthly fees, commissions, etc are actually collected—Do they withdraw fees from your trading balance every day/month? So the next trading day the balance you’re looking at shows the fees they took out? I’m unclear.
Related question: For those of us considering trading with a smallish account (under 1000), because we’re just starting, don’t have much money or risk tolerance, does this fee structure imply that we have to be prepared to grind out over $150 in profits per month just to maintain platform fees (in the case of this broker)?
Hope you can clear up these points.

In my case I have some past experience with Forex, but I’m new to stock trading, so in this sense I consider myself a newbie, willing to learn the right way..
I don’t know about you guys but I buy a few cents above the highs just to make sure it’s actually a breakout instead of it just bouncing off of the resistance. I know I lose out on a few cents of profit but at least it isn’t a terrible loss. I would love to know your guys strategies for breakout and momentum trading!

Is that up $338 you could cash out and use for the day or is there still commissions to pay on that?
Do you have to pay taxes on that money you made or is that already taken out, how does it work?
I'm trading on a small account too! My balance is up to 1005 from 265 at the start of this week. Its exciting to see all the knowledge about trading accumulated over the years playing out and I cant wait to see where it takes me!

Hi Ross, when you get a chance, can you explain the CMEG fees? I would need $500 to open the account, plus around $200 a month in software and market data fees? I see they offer software rebate if generating X amount of commissions per month. But if I am paper trading, say 3 months, I wouldn't be generating commisions, so I will have to plan for the $200/month software and market data fees? Thanks, happy holidays and new year. Wow you took a big risk there. Do you advise people to go that far in the hole with their buying power? I know you can bank that with your other money, but shouldn't the point of this to be trading like someone with a small account? That is a $15000 hole if it doesn't pay off, which most people with small accounts defiantly cant afford.

Maybe the most important takeaways from your videos is the psychology talk in the intros. It’s like having a quick therapy session that eases any internal conflict after having a tough trading day. As someone who is a beginner and definitely carries large emotional risk, I have to say you set my head straight and I’m getting a better grip on my emotions
I lost 200 $ on the drop, two candles earlier. I'll stop trading until January. Setting up hotkeys is difficult when you do it by yourself. Lesson learned
How do you make more than 3 day trades in 5 days with the PDT rules on your small account???
I like it when Ross share the emotional aspects while being on a trade. This is very valuable info. we focus about entry exits etc but being able to dominate your emotions is maybe even more important

Ross, your rule #3 is stop when you have given half of your profits. How do you know if you have already reached the maximum profit for the day and now giving off the top because you could find an opportunity that makes up for your losses and make more on top?
