its amazing the course of life and the thought process that come with success and failures. They are really opposite and one is needed to achieve the other. Enjoyed the honesty most never speak on the losses.

He was trading like you normally do I bet. Just bet more because you had more. You made your plays with your chest out filled with confidence. Remember your gut feelings

Ross is a true and good man. For sure. But what´s going on inside this rollercoster of emotions, FOMO and GREED? People are very different, some are more rational, others are emotional junkies. Most traders are more or less gamblers deep in their souls and their behaviouring.. Discipline doesn´t work with only 70 or 85 %. Discipline only works with 100 % full discipline. Be careful not to become a trade junkie . You often do not notice how the limit is crossed by your emotions ..

You're having a personal profit pullback.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @alphaomega5923 says:

Ross, one more thing…you cannot rid of emotion while trading; you just can't.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @alphaomega5923 says:

Ross, you do have a goal and that goal is to help others become successful like yourself. There's no joy far beyond that Ross. You have reached the pinnacle in life already. Thanks Ross.

I can't help but think this is one of your best videos. Throughout the entire video, you clearly fail to have an un-uttered thought. I can't help but think that getting back to basics is necessary. What you seem to be experiencing is exactly what you said, you were trading on emotion, not solid analytical thinking. That is what seems to have led to your significant exposure in the market. Do you think or feel like maybe the trading is starting to become an addiction in the absence of clear goals and discipline ? I mean if you seriously have a method that works, and limits exposure during down times, are you talking and thinking through that as you trade ? Or do you think that maybe you have lost sight of that and the emotions are causing you to not only make significant mistakes, but to also make them over and over, erasing your winnings ? Do you think that you could stop yourself before having another loss like this ? Do you think that you could maybe stop trading for like a month; just to re-set yourself so you come back with a clear head ? Sorry for asking so many questions. I don't mean to be mean, or sound over-critical, just curious.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @lenovo762 says:

You should listen to yourself, all you can talk about is winners and losers; like someone who is sitting at a casino after a big loss, someone who is addicted to gambling….nothing about how you are analyzing your trades. You said, "I keep feeding this monster" – nothing about strategy, just whining about your losses, and talking about your compulsion. You are describing a classic addiction to gambling.

Completely humbled by the experience you had, the strength to show not only your trades but your heart and discuss the real challenges (FoMo, Tina, revenge Trade or going Hulk, greed, fear and the resentments ) that we face as traders.
    You are my hero

I'm new to investing, beyond my 401(k), and your videos have been fascinating. After watching this video the thought that cropped up for me is that in any investment you should keep the long-term in mind. We may get a rush from short-term gain potential, but if we then neglect, forget and lose focus on what our long-term goals are in favor of a short-term rush (of emotion, overconfidence, etc.) we often trip ourselves and lose sight of where we previously were trying to go. It seems to me that, even in daytrading, success is still about the long game; finding your sustainable daily stategy for long-term success. It's so cool to see you going through that process and showing that sometimes we have to self-reflect, back up a bit and then reestablish how we sustainably move forward. I appreciate you sharing both the wins and loses and talking through them with your viewers.

You're a beast Ross! Some setbacks we face are real tests of our resolve, but you possess the most important thing of all – the skills and the resources to build back 100 fold. And you're helping the rest of us build those skills too with each teachable moment.

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @Tampanda says:

Increase you're daily goal to a number that you can be satisfied walking away with. Clearly 10k isn't it, so make it 20k or 30k. Just learn how to walk.

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @catwearingshades says:

this guy is so greedy he's crying about losing 300k in a week trading a hyped stock, while being up 600k in the year already. that type of money can literally change half of the world's lives. lmao this is so sad, stop being emotional in trading 😂

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars @NathanFranckGameDev says:

I lost $1180 CAD over the last couple of weeks on trading for the first time with GME. I'm out. To me stock trading is incredibly emotionally driven and really really hard to read. I feel like the little traders are bound to lose out because of the lack of power to shake the game around and manipulate it to our advantage, we're just trying to predict the big players and ride with them, which means lots of time wasted looking at news and looking at patterns. Ultimately the price of stocks seems to have little meaning to the actual companies distributing them, about as meaningless as holding value in currency. I think my long investment plan right now is to buy things that don't depreciate or things that can help me generate real-world value in my job, and my hobby projects. Keeping value in currency and stocks is a great way to get shattered on the whim of some high rolling corporate monster. Just my thoughts.
