Hi Ross! I’m so glad that I found your channel. Thank you for all of your inspiring and educational videos, you are the one trader from all over the YouTube who are actually real trader. Can you please answer my question? Can I apply your strategy for forex trading?
Question from a newbie. What is the best way to find stocks that are volatile enough ( fluctuate within the day going up and down ) but have smaller caps that are more affordable to buy? I am currently trading mostly those expensive mega-cap tech stocks that requires larger capital as their price per share is high but it takes a lot of capital with small gain like what Ross is saying.
We are all FOMO and we all want to be successful right away so we all rush as not 3veryone can afford to grind. Yea that is main reasons why there are so many failed traders

It's been a few years since I last followed Ross and his channel. He inspired me to trade the momentums with my thinkorswim account before the pandemic. I did mostly paper trading btw so no crazy losses! I've come back with more maturity and mental discipline starting just last month with real money on the line. Mostly profiting but the storm has yet to hit me and I want to be ready for it.

Im waiting for somebody to come up with a strategy for trading while sleeping because i work 2nd shift and dont get up for work until the markets closed and im asleep before it opens 🤣.
So my mistake is this. If you and I were to take the same trade at the exact same time. Say 2% of our account. You might pull your profit off at 10% and make alot of money. That's roughly we're I should be looking to take my profits. But because I'm only make say $30 I say screw it. I'm swinging for the fences and I'm going to make $150 cause $30 isn't satisfying enough and the big guys make big money so i want to make big money. Even though I know realistically if I just take that profit I'd be up $30 and not losing maybe $100-$250. That makes sense.
According to your videos I watch everyday. I believe in Ross is not only a good teacher but also a very good person as well, by reminding us using margin is risky, starting with mini account first, and trading less until best setup shows up……Thank you so much my dear teacher.

ok, i just found you and sub’d. i have been at this for years and finally am finding my jam. lol. i flipped some good penny stocks and a couple of big boy stocks over the last week, then put it all on frc (falling bank stock) and flipped that, then put it all in another risky bank stock, sivbq, and made the most money i have made in years! bought at .48 on wed and sold at 1.30’s the next day (to avoid a day trade for small fries like me) and then got into gmzp at .013 and am already up over a grand on that one. but you have to really look at the past chart, see how it moves with volume and check why its running or not running, etc. are you on ihub? if so, whats your “handle?”.

last year I lost everything, all my savings were with a company that went under. (not a story for here) so I lost faith and have sat doing nothing other than feel sorry for myself. Today I watched this video, and for the first time in a long while, felt that fire in me which I used to love. I am ready to learn new skills.. Thank you Ross

I’ve done it it’s just just so extremely slow you almost want to find a great investment in order to get a bigger account. Think about it Ross 24 dollars a day 5 times a week. Rough estimate with a 60% win rate your looking at 3,450.00 a year. It sucks! One good hit in that year will cost you most of your account. So people obviously give up. It’s because of PDT why most don’t make it. If I can’t bounce in and out like a pro it sets us up on a different path. The truth is they put the PDT at 25,000 because they know the poor would figure this out. Don’t lie Ross I’ve followed you for 5 years now. ITS CAPITAL. I’ve lost money For years. Now I am working for a firm I have a 64% win rate with a 3.08 sharpie ratio. We suck at life cause the rich get richer. We have the tools- but they restrict the way we act, it’s not a fair ballgame. Why? You have 100 opportunities and we have 4-5 a day and that involves a lot more pressure. So finding away around it with a mindset- preserving- to look at these charts for years and to see your account blown in two weeks would dishearten the best of us. Love ya brother- never knew you were in New England!!
LEGEND. i am now a successful trader watchingyour videos and learning the hard way. If i get green, in 1 2 trades, i turn it off and don't look at the market again unless i am notified of a massive move or some crazy news. Because of you brother ross
Awesome video Ross. I have noticed this to be true but fell into the mindset of my small size needing bigger moves while being bull-headed and not taking the small wins instead. It's actually why I would go a week or two of small green trades and then lose all that progress in one day. I would lose patience in small gains while comparing my wins to huge wins of other traders and knowing I need to take more risk I was doing it incorrectly. If I stick to small wins Im green 70%+ of the time and I know I need to stick with that even though it'll take longer to gain what I want to gain.

One thing that I hear successful traders talk about is tracking their trades. I have a dashboard and run reports, but I don’t really track every individual trade that I take. I wonder if I won’t be successful unless I start doing that.
